Put simply, we will collect your documents and barcode every item, at which point they are ready for you to order. Then simply login and make your requests. An email will arrive within 30 minutes to notify you that your document is ready for viewing. Making the Switch
When a company decides that it wishes to move from the traditional paper based flow of documents around its organisation to an electronic document management system there are several considerations to be taken into account. Up until now, the scanning of documents would have to be done either with a dedicated in house operation or via a scanning bureau. Both are feasible options but also both carry a hefty price tag in terms of company resources. At this point there is also the question of what is to be done with the original paper documents and while shredding them might be the most tempting option, there are legal admissibility concerns and compulsory retention requirements for some originals.

Thus the expensive 'back scanning' problem is solved as you only pay for images that you need, when you need them. Why pay to scan all of your documents in one go when only a small percentage of them are ever likely to be viewed before they reach their destruction date? Clearly there is also no need for you to invest in expensive scanning equipment, not to mention ongoing training and maintenance. The final problem of retention is also nicely solved in that once we have processed the file you have the option of keeping it in our store or requesting that we destroy it via our cross-cut security shredding service.
